David entered the fitness and conditioning world after meeting with a coach and mentor at The Boys Club at age 13. This led to a lifelong drive to be the best he could be through hard work and perserverence. Boxing and physical fitness taught David intense focus, drive, and direction. He instils that same focus and determination in his current clients to help them achieve their goals and beyond.

Sports have always been a part of Carolino’s life. Whether it was playing soccer at 5 years old or playing flag football at 30, he always had a love for athletics. At the age of 10, Carolino played in the Pop Warner Super Bowl and, later in his college years, played Basketball for Norwalk Community College. Today, in his 30s, he still plays in numerous adult leagues, including flag-football, softball, and basketball. He sees health and fitness as a lifestyle and, now as a proud father, he wants to be in the best shape of his life not only for himself but also for his kids. After years of being behind a computer all day when he was in the corporate world, he decided to become a fitness professional dealing with real people and real life issues. He says it’s the best move he ever made in his career. Carolino’s main objective is to help his clients reach their goals and make fitness a lifestyle!

Naja Muller is a Connecticut shoreline native. She has over 20 years of experience in Circus Arts as a teacher, choreographer, and performer.
Naja studied at North Carolina School of the Arts with a Concentration in Ballet. She began her movement studies as a classically trained ballet dancer, training and performing with the Joffrey Ballet, New Haven Ballet, Hartford Ballet, Moscow State Ballet, and the Paul Hall Contemporary Dance Theater. She also received training in modern, ballroom, character, hip-hop, and jazz dance.
Naja's training in Circus Arts began at the renowned San Francisco Circus Center where she received specialized training under Master Lu Yi, Xia Ke Min and Xiao Hong Weng. She specialized in Chinese acrobatics, hand to hand, contortion and foot juggling while also studying cords lisse, static trapeze, lyra, and tissue.

"I have suffered with arthritis in my hip since 2013. Boxing with Dave has proven to be a life saver. As my hip worsened, I could no longer manage hot yoga, spin, walking or running, or any high intensity aerobic exercise class. I soon realized boxing was a great way to stay in shape and not aggravate my arthritis and actual enjoy my workouts. My boxing sessions with Dave very soon developed into 3 times a week 1 hour sessions each and I complemented those with 2 days of Pilates. When I finally had a date for my hip replacement surgery, I got into the best shape I have ever been under the direction, coaching and training of Dave Mulford. Dave keeps the sessions fresh by introducing Tabata and HIIT rounds along with speed and heavy bag and mitt work. He was a master at getting me back into a routine post-surgery. And as I now prepare for the replacement of my other hip, I continue to work with Dave and always will!

"When my husband and I moved to Old Saybrook two years ago, one of my first priorities was to find a new trainer who could help me develop a workout routine that would help me in my battle with Parkinson's Disease. We met Dave at a local gym in town and I started boxing with him.
